There have been speculations over whether or not the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will sales UTME form 2021. This is because of the 9 month ASUU strike doubled with the FG’s lockdown of schools since March last year, this made student stayed home for long before the bone of contention between this two parties was settled late December.

However, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has disclosed that it would go ahead with the sale of the 2021/2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form, despite the seemingly logjam in the academic calendar of most federal universities as we know many of them are finding it hard to balance the calendar, of which has called for online classes and few in campus (safe areas and devoid of Covid 19)

JAMB Public Relations Officer, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, revealed this to newsmen Last Friday in Abuja. According to him, that UTME is a yearly exercise and at such will not be put on hold.

He also point out the fact that universities have concluded about 60 percent of the admissions for 2020/2021 session.

He, however, stopped at not disclosing when the board will likely commence the sales of UTME/DE form for 2021.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for more update on all Examinations
