The accused was charged with conspiracy to rob and armed robbery. The allegation against him stated that they were eating and robbed them of their valuables including a Honda halla motor car and some jewelry. The court held that the “defence of alibi is matter that is exclusively within the knowledge of an accused person where he was at a given time. The defence of alibi should be raised at the earliest opportunity and that opportunity is in the interrogation room. This is to enable the police investigate the alibi”
