WHAT IS PUBLIC HEALTH ?


Health can be define as the state by which an individual is free from presenting symptoms of disease.

Before we proceed, we should be able to define disease.
   

      Disease can be define as the deviation from  different normal state of health preventing some signs ans symptoms of ill health .


             TYPES OF DISEASES

1.     PRE-ACUTE DISEASES: A Diseases is describe as pre-acute if it occurs and it lasts for a very short period of life and no symptoms are easily noticed.

2.     ACUTE DISEASES:This shows noticeable symptoms and manifest maximum casualty.

3.     SUB-ACUTE DISEASES: This type last more than acute one with symptoms of a diseases.

4.     CHRONIC DISEASES: This type keeps on longer causing loss of growth and production,but  not resulting to the death of the animal

                 CAUSES OF DISEASES


I.                   Viruses
II.                Bacteria
III.             Fungi
IV.            Protozoa
V.               Malnutrition or metabolic dis-order
     SIGN AND DISEASES IN HUMAN

1.lack of appetite 
2.  rough skin
3. Reduce weight 
4. Frequent vomiting 
5. Increase in body temperature
6. Headache.
                                

      EXAMPLES OF DISEASES

1.     Infectious Diseases: there are diseases that can be transmitted from one person to another E.G  Ebola , chicken pox , small pox , measles, monkey pox  E.t.c .

2.     Non-Infectious Diseases: these are just ordinary diseases that cannot be contacted E.G . Malaria , typhoid .E.t.c.
         
              CAUSES OF DISEASES

1.     Body odor: this is the unbearable smell that comes out of individual. This may be a result of dirtiness/uncleanness or inherited something.


             CARE OF THE ODOR

1.     Use good body spray/perfume deodorant
2.     Always wash your clothes
3.     Frequent baths
4.     Wearing clean clothes[ underwear ]
5.     Proper menstrual hygiene
6.     Well clean environment E.t.c.
