It’s not story by now that to get into any higher institution, one has to go through some certain procedure, this procedures can be bureaucratic and tasking, but on long run, it’s a necessary stress one has to pass through. The JAMB Matriculation list portal for students to easily confirm if their admission is recognized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been enabled. If you’ve been admitted ranging into any accredited tertiary institution from 1995 – 2020, you are advised to proceed to check if your names are on the list.
What Could have occur If Your name Is Not On The Matriculation List
- If you have been admitted to study in any accredited tertiary institution and your name is not on the list, it simply means that your admission is not valid as it has not been recognized by JAMB.
- It means that you won’t be mobilized for NYSC when it is time

- Accept your Admission on JAMB CAPS and Print your JAMB Admission Letter Online from the e-Facility Platform
- Print your JAMB Result Slip Online from the e-Facility Platform
- Verify the two documents with the admission officer in your Institution

- Log on to https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/checkmatriculationlist
- Select Examination Year i.e 1995 – 2020
- Enter REG Number
- Click Fetch My Details Button
NOTE:
It is important that you confirm your name from the matriculation list. Only candidates whose names are on this list are recognized as bonafide students from the various accredited institutions. If it happens that you name isn’t on the list,you should try as much as possible to try and see what the problem could be or dash to the nearest JAMB office around you.
By implication, if your name is not on this list, your application to NYSC scheme for the one year National service shall be declined.
