President Clothing v Anyanwu

Principle: a Lagos High Court held that a representation in order to amount to ostensible authority must

 

  1. i)          Be made by word or conduct or acts of a general nature;
  2. ii)         Be made by the principal or by sources authorized to act for him;

iii)        Representation of fact.
