UNILAG BALLOTING : DSA’s Information on how to ballot

COMMENCEMENT OF 2023/2024 HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION ALLOCATION EXERCISE

DEAR STUDENTS,

THE MUCH ANTICIPATED HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION EXERCISE WILL COMMENCE ON  MONDAY 23RD OF OCTOBER 2023.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE BALLOTING EXERCISE, ENSURE YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE SESSION/SEMESTER.

THE BALLOTING WILL BE STAGGERED AND BASED ON LEVEL AS SHOWN BELOW:

1. FINAL YEAR STUDENTS (4 & 5 YEARS PROGRAMMES)
2. 300 LEVEL (FOR 4 & 5 YEAR PROGRAMMES) & 400 LEVEL (FOR 5 YEAR PROGRAMMES)
3. 200 LEVEL (YEAR 4 & 5 PROGRAMMES)
4. 100 LEVEL (ALL FRESHERS)

PLEASE NOTE THAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO COME WITH THEIR MATTRESSES, COVERED WITH MACINTOSH.

YOU ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO PAY YOUR FEES AND REGISTER SOME COURSES FOR THE 2023-2024 SESSION.

How to get bed space in UNILAG Hostel

it’s however, a very tasking thing to get a bed space so easily in UNILAG hostels except if your ward, your father, mother, aunty or any of your relative works in the school management though. you’d already be exceptions to the rule even from the start. however, the opportunity might be limited to some certain set of persons. knowing that you don’t fall in this you’d have to follow this steps.

1. You’d have to wake up very early the day of balloting
2. you’d be needing to load the site down on multiple pages/tabs on your chrome
3. you’d need a 5g network, find area where 5g works, it doesn’t totally guarantee but you stand a chance at it
4. ask family, friends, relative, enemy, frenemy and even the witch using 5g or 4g in your area to help you open multiple tabs to and keep loading
5. you’d find the accommodation icon inside your student portal once you log-in
6. it is survival of the fittest (Darwinism), so don’t stop loading, just keep up with, because, there are lot of persons on it too, so it probably keep throwing you out of the site on and on, but keep pushing!
